Job summary

Inova Loudoun Hospital is seeking a dedicated Electrician Sr to join the facilities team in Leesburg, VA. This full-time day-shift role offers a 40-hour workweek and the opportunity to work across hospital electrical systems.

The role requires 6 years in the electrical trade (3 years analyzing and repairing control systems), a journeyman electrical license or supervision under a Master Electrician, and OSHA certification.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: 6 years in electrical trade in commercial/industrial environment; minimum 3 years analyzing and repairing control systems.
• Certification: Electrical trade certification; OSHA Certification.
• Licensure: Electrical Journeyman's License or work under supervision of a Master Electrician on site.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and repair the hospital energy control system in collaboration with the HVAC Supervisor and Power House Supervisor.
• Troubleshoot and repair controls of OR/special procedures equipment with Engineering.
• Complete PM and work orders to maintain reliability and integrity of electrical infrastructure.
• Notify supervisor if additional resources are required to complete requests.
• Complete PM orders for the fire alarm system and report daily to supervisor.
• Evaluate resources for electrical construction requirements on renovations.
• Inspect and repair fire alarm deficiencies to ensure hazard-free environments for patients, staff and visitors.

Electrician Sr Job Responsibilities

• Assists the HVAC Supervisor and Power House Supervisor in analyzing and repairing the hospital energy control system.
• Supports/assists the Engineering department by trouble shooting and repairing the controls of a variety of OR/special procedures equipment.
• Completes assigned work orders and PM orders to maintain the reliability and integrity of the electrical infrastructure in the hospital.
• Informs supervisor if additional resources are required to complete customer requests.
• Completes all PM orders pertaining to the fire alarm system and submits to the supervisor at the end of each working day.
• Evaluates and determines the resources necessary to accomplish electrical construction requirements for assigned renovation projects.
• Inspects and repairs all deficiencies relating to the fire alarm system to provide a hazard free environment for the patients, staff and visitors using the buildings.

Minimum Requirements

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: 6 years of experience in the electrical trade in a commercial or industrial environment. Minimum 3 years of experience analyzing and repairing control systems.
• Certification: Certification in the Electrical trade, OSHA Certification.
• Licensure: Electrical Journeyman's License or must work under supervision of a Master Electrician at the site.
