You will mentor others, build client relationships, and tackle complex estimating challenges. The position requires leading the estimating team, analyzing drawings and specs, and ensuring all bid documents are completed accurately.

Qualifications

• Leads Transportation Estimating Team with timely roll-out and execution of the entire estimate deliverable process.
• Assumes job duties and responsibilities of the Estimator II.
• Proven knowledge of electrical transportation needs (traffic signals, street lighting, comms).
• Proficiency with construction software like Bluebeam and Accubid.

Responsibilities

• Organize the bid team, provide leadership on means/methods, schedule and strategy.
• Create detailed crew and production cost estimates and review prices with estimating team.
• Attend pre-bid meetings, site tours, and post-bid interviews as required.
• Assist in gathering actual vs. estimated costs and maintain cost history.
