This role bridges customer requirements with internal engineering execution by partnering closely with Sales, Applications Engineering, Project Management, and Manufacturing teams to deliver innovative, scalable power solutions that support the evolving demands of AI and high-density computing infrastructure.

The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise in electrical power systems with strong customer engagement skills and the ability to translate complex requirements into practical, reliable solutions.

Core Responsibilities
  • Review and interpret customer specifications, one-line diagrams, Basis of Design (BOD) documents, and technical requirements.
  • Design and support integrated medium-voltage and low-voltage power distribution systems, including switchgear, PDUs, STS, and RPPs.
  • Translate customer and AI workload requirements into scalable electrical system architectures.
  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Lead customer meetings, technical reviews, design walkthroughs, and clarification discussions.
  • Provide technical training and knowledge transfer related to system operation, functionality, and architecture.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to customers, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Applications Engineering teams to develop technical proposals, quotations, and submittals.
  • Support RFP responses, technical presentations, and tender documentation.
  • Participate in customer site visits, facility tours, and technical evaluations.
  • Coordinate closely with Project Management and Manufacturing teams to ensure alignment on project scope, deliverables, and schedules.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Stay current on emerging technologies and industry trends impacting power distribution, AI infrastructure, and edge computing environments.
  • Represent Hyper Solutions at technical conferences, customer innovation sessions, industry forums, and trade events.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to product design, customer experience, and engineering processes.
  • Assist with technical problem-solving and customer support activities as required.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical education and experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in electrical power systems, preferably within data center, mission-critical, or industrial environments.
  • Strong understanding of medium-voltage and low-voltage power distribution systems.
  • Experience reviewing electrical one-line diagrams, specifications, and design documentation.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience working with major OEM platforms.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to manage customer-facing technical engagements and support multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 30% as required by customer and project needs.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with consulting engineering firms, OEMs, EPC contractors, or mission-critical infrastructure providers.
  • Understanding of AI infrastructure requirements and their impact on power density, resiliency, and electrical system design.
  • Familiarity with MRP/ERP systems, NetSuite, CRM platforms, and engineering project management tools.
  • Experience supporting hyperscale data center projects and large-scale power distribution deployments.
