Job summary

Affiliated Engineers, Inc. (AEI) seeks a Senior Electrical QA/QC Agent to lead quality-control initiatives for state-of-the-art facilities across multiple sites in the US.

The role emphasizes mentoring, design/construction document review, and ensuring adherence to rigorous electrical standards. The ideal candidate brings a technical electrical background, 10+ years in electrical testing, and experience with critical power, fire protection, and building systems.

Qualifications

• Technical or associate degree in an electrical-related field, engineering, or construction management.
• Minimum of ten years in electrical service or electrical equipment testing.
• Experience in mission-critical and hyperscale spaces.
• Knowledge of building systems incl. fire protection, electrical, and controls.
• Experience with fire detection/suppression, generators, switchgear, UPS, and power distribution.

Responsibilities

• Perform periodic site walks to ensure adherence to procedures and best practices.
• Deliver daily reports detailing tasks or inspections with relevant codes/standards.
• Collaborate in a team, mentoring and delegating tasks to others.
• Onsite presence if placed regionally; travel may be required for out-of-region sites.
