Job summary

We are hiring for a Senior Electrical QA/QC Agent in Texas, Georgia, Wisconsin, Ohio, and Arizona. As part of our Mission Critical team, you will help us empower our clients to achieve energy‑efficient building solutions, save global environments, and create a better, greener future for all.

Why we need you

In this role, you will resolve quality control challenges and complete tasks, including developing and implementing quality control process delivery plans based on owner project requirements, basis of design, design & construction documents, user and project partner inputs, field surveys, specifications, shop drawings, and code research. You will also mentor and develop less experienced team members and respond to questions across multiple site locations.

The expertise of our most successful Senior Electrical QA/QC Agent includes:
  • A technical or associate degree in an electrical‑related field, engineering, or construction management or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in electrical service or equipment testing
  • Minimum of five (5) years in mission‑critical and two (2) years in hyperscale space
  • Functional knowledge of building systems across disciplines, including fire protection, electrical, technology, instrumentation & controls, process, and lighting systems
  • Experience with primary and emergency service on state‑of‑the‑art critical systems; expertise in fire detection/suppression, building monitoring systems, diesel generators, medium voltage switchgear, UPS systems, and power distribution equipment
  • Fundamental knowledge of commissioning processes and delivery
  • Fundamental knowledge of construction processes and project delivery models
  • Extensive knowledge of electrical codes, standards, specifications, and shop drawings with the ability to interpret them
  • Proficiency in applicable technologies, including computer/software, data loggers, and test & measurement equipment
  • Valid driver’s license and state‑required vehicle insurance

  • Procore, CxAlloy, or BIM360 experience is a plus
Typical Responsibilities
  • Perform periodic site walks to ensure adherence to procedures and best practices, assisting general contractors and site superintendents with inspections as required
  • Deliver daily reports detailing completed tasks or inspections, providing information on issues supported by relevant codes or standards
  • Collaborate in a team environment, mentoring, delegating work, and giving and receiving constructive feedback
  • On‑site expectation 100% if located within the region; travel of 75% required for out‑of‑region sites depending on project expectations, balancing on‑site and work‑from‑home duties
