Job summary

Amteck is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead large-scale electrical construction projects, ranging from $30M–$50M+, driving performance, financial success, client satisfaction, and team development.

You will oversee all phases from preconstruction to closeout, coordinating with clients, field leadership, and executives, while mentoring junior staff and ensuring safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of Project Management experience in electrical construction.
• Experience managing commercial and industrial electrical construction projects.
• Demonstrated success managing projects valued at $30M–$50M+.
• Strong knowledge of Electrical Construction Project Management, NEC, OSHA.
• Experience with scheduling software (Primavera P6, MS Project).
• Strong financial management, forecasting, and budgeting skills.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
• Willingness to travel based on project requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of electrical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Serve as primary liaison between clients, field leadership, and executive management.
• Lead project planning, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and execution.
• Drive project financial performance, forecasting, and cost control.
• Coordinate with Superintendents, Foremen, Engineering, Estimating, and Executive Leadership
• Develop and mentor Assistant Project Managers and project staff
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and exceptional service
• Review contracts, risk analysis, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and documentation
• Utilize scheduling tools to maintain project schedules (Primavera P6, MS Project)
• Lead pull-planning sessions and production tracking strategies
• Oversee QA, safety compliance, and project closeout processes
• Identify value engineering opportunities and prefabrication solutions
