Job summary

The L.E. Myers Co. is seeking a Project Manager to oversee electrical construction projects, ensuring schedules, budgets, and client requirements are met.

This role collaborates with field teams, engineers, and clients to drive on-time delivery and cost control across complex utility projects. Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in project management and estimating within the electrical sector, a related bachelor's degree, and proficiency with MS Project and estimating software.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management and estimating experience in the electrical industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; combination of education and experience considered in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Prepare project construction schedules.
• Submit RFIs to clients.
• Manage day-to-day activities of assigned projects.
• Act as the main point-of-contact for project personnel.
• Coordinate meetings, schedule updates, deliverables, and address outstanding items as requested by clients.
• Prepare look-ahead documents and weekly/monthly progress reports and billing information.
• Review and monitor job costs versus budgets.
• Report regularly to the management team.
• Prepare complete cost estimates (labor and material) for projects within set deadlines.
• Schedule and attend field walk-downs with customers, subcontractors, and construction personnel.
