Job summary

Stratas Foods, LLC is seeking an experienced maintenance professional for its Texas-area operations. You will lead preventative maintenance, troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical systems, and ensure safe, efficient plant performance.

The role requires 4–6 years of hands-on experience, knowledge of PLCs, and CMMS proficiency. You will collaborate with engineering and production teams and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 4–6 years of hands-on industrial maintenance experience.
• Advanced experience troubleshooting and maintaining PLCs and automation systems.
• Experience developing, writing, and implementing preventative maintenance programs.

Job Description

Standard schedule

Monday - Friday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm (overtime and weekend work)

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead compliance efforts with all Stratas GMP standards.
• Promote and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Adhere to and enforce all company safety protocols, policies, and procedures.
• Execute and oversee the repair, installation, and maintenance of production and manufacturing equipment.
• Conduct detailed inspections of equipment performance and proactively identify potential failures or improvement opportunities.
• Develop and execute preventative maintenance procedures and maintenance schedules.
• Utilize CMMS systems to document maintenance activities, track work orders, and analyze equipment history.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose complex electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automation-related issues.

Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.

Related Experience: 4 to 6 years of experience

• Experience developing, writing, and implementing preventative maintenance programs and procedures.
• Proficiency using advanced diagnostic equipment and maintenance software for equipment analysis and troubleshooting.
• Experience managing multiple maintenance projects simultaneously while meeting timelines and quality expectations.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Strong working knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Demonstrated experience mentoring, training, and developing maintenance technicians and apprentices.

Additional Information

Ability to lift 50 lbs, climb stairs/ladders, bend, kneel, stand for long periods, work in confined spaces, and work at heights.

Requires adequate sensory acuity to identify normal and abnormal conditions.

Must be able to logically and methodically work through and break down complex problems and communicate effectively across all levels.
