Job summary

Agility Robotics in Salem, OR, is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, Electrical, to lead sustaining and continuous improvement in our robotics manufacturing facility. You will optimize production processes, troubleshoot electro-mechanical assemblies, and implement ECOs to drive improvements.

The role requires a bachelor’s in Electrical/Manufacturing Engineering, 6+ years of hands-on experience, and strong collaboration across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Manufacturing Engineering or a closely related technical field.
• 6+ years of experience in commercial, product-driven manufacturing supporting a production line.
• Hands-on experience with electro-mechanical systems, PCBAs, sensors.
• Experience updating electrical designs and ECOs/ECRs in PLM (Windchill a plus).
• Proficiency in Python and Linux; C language knowledge is a plus.
• ERP and MES software experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME for electrical components within robot manufacturing.
• Diagnose and resolve manufacturing and design issues on electronic assemblies.
• Collaborate with systems/ test teams to improve scripts for flashing firmware and testing.
• Update electrical designs in Altium for manufacturability.
• Review electrical design changes for DFM/ DFA/ DFT and production readiness.
• Lead ECR/ECO validation, testing, and production implementation.
• Maintain up-to-date technical documentation (drawings, BOMs, PFMEAs, control plans).
• Collaborate with suppliers/contract manufacturers on design changes and testing.
• Analyze production data to drive capacity, quality, cost and safety improvements.
• Mentor and lead engineers and technicians toward continuous improvement.
