Job summary

Agility Robotics is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, Electrical to lead sustaining and continuous improvement initiatives in our robotics manufacturing facility. You will optimize production processes, troubleshoot electro-mechanical systems and PCBAs, and implement ECOs on the production line.

You will serve as SME for electrical components, drive design updates in Altium, work with ERP/MES, and mentor junior engineers.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a closely related technical field.
6+ years of relevant experience in a commercial, product-driven manufacturing environment supporting a production line (robotics, automotive, aerospace, medical, or similar preferred).
Hands-on experience with electro-mechanical systems, mechanisms, actuators, PCBAs, and sensors.

Responsibilities

Act as the primary Subject Matter Expert (SME) within the Manufacturing Engineering Sustaining team for all electrical components within the Robot, including high-density PCBAs, power distribution units, cable assemblies/harnesses, sensors, and battery systems.
Diagnose and resolve manufacturing, field, and design issues with focus on electronic assemblies and components, supporting RCA and lead CAPA for nonconformances.
Collaborate with System and Test Engineering teams to understand, utilize and improve automated scripts and diagnostic tools (Python, C/C++) for flashing firmware, commissioning and testing electronic assemblies.
