M.C. Dean is a leading provider of building intelligence and mission-critical infrastructure. We seek a senior technician to maintain electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety systems across data center facilities, coordinating with OEO and vendors to ensure peak performance.

The role requires 8+ years of experience, a state journeyman license or VMET, and eligibility for a security clearance. Expect a demanding but rewarding environment with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have State Certified Journeyman’s License or VMET Certification.
• 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Clearance: Ability to obtain HSPD-12 & Secret Clearance eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Ensure electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety systems operate at peak efficiency.
• Provide technical guidance to junior technicians and oversee contractors’ roles.
• Analyze systems, install replacements, and follow safety guidelines.
• Maintain 99.999% uptime for data center equipment and associated infrastructure.
• Log activities in CMMS and generate reliability reports.
