Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking a Senior Field Service Technician to join our Electrical Power Services team in Irving, TX. The role involves traveling about 25% to inspect, test, troubleshoot, and collect data on electrical systems at customer sites, supervising junior staff, and ensuring quality across multiple projects.

Responsibilities include testing of high/low voltage equipment, coordinating with management, and maintaining detailed field reports while adhering to NFPA70E standards and NETA

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of electrical testing experience.
Experience working in a team environment.
Experience working on projects.
Familiar with NETA Acceptance and Maintenance Testing Standards.
Familiar with NFPA70E Electrical Safety standards.
Ability to travel regionally 25%.

Responsibilities

Travel to customer sites to inspect, test, troubleshoot, and collect data.
Supervise trainees and technicians on testing duties.
Test and calibrate protective relays and switchgear.
Document test results and prepare field reports.
Coordinate with ABM and Customer Management on project scope.
