Job summary

Mission Critical Group (MCG) is seeking an Estimator to provide technical expertise and accurate cost analysis for complex electrical equipment projects. You will translate engineering specs into commercial proposals, ensuring technical viability and project profitability.

Collaborating with Sales, Engineering, Project Management and Procurement, you will develop proposals, evaluate scope and risk, and source materials to support on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in the Power Distribution or Switchgear industry.
• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field.
• Strong communication skills with diverse stakeholders.
• Excellent mathematical and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and analyze complex electrical plans, specs, and contract requirements to determine project scope.
• Generate detailed estimates for low and medium voltage equipment (panelboards, switchgear, transformers, control systems).
• Develop professional proposals aligned with schedules, contracts, and client needs; evaluate scope and risk.
• Engage with suppliers to negotiate pricing and manage procurement of equipment.
