Job summary

Qualifications

• Analyze project drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive cost estimates for electrical work.
• Identify potential project risks and incorporate risk management strategies in estimates.
• Prepare detailed cost breakdowns and timelines for proposals and bids.
• Communicate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to obtain current pricing and availability.
• Review and adjust estimates as project scope or costs change during bidding or planning.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates based on all levels of design documents.
• Develop RFP deliverables in line with customer expectations.
• Assist Project Management in developing cost codes for project scope.
• Obtain vendor and subcontractor quotes and evaluate for best price.
• Participate in estimate review with manager and prepare GMP proposals.
