Job summary
M.C. Dean is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our Building Intelligence team in the Tysons/Alexandria area.
The role focuses on developing conceptual designs through construction documents for power systems, UPS, and distribution, coordinating with trades, and producing detailed electrical deliverables in AutoCAD and REVIT. Applicants should have an ABET-accredited degree in Electrical Engineering and 5+ years in power/electrical engineering, with readiness to obtain a TS/SCI
Qualifications
- ABET-accredited Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or higher.
- 5+ years of Power/Electrical Engineering experience.
- Active TS/SCI clearance to start (Polygraph may be required).
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop conceptual designs to construction documents for power systems.
- Design and size electrical equipment and distribution systems.
- Coordinate device locations with other trades and prepare project specifications.
- Create Method of Procedures (MOP) and Sequence of Operations (SOP).
- Document design work in AutoCAD and REVIT (2D/3D).
- Support construction activities and respond to RFIs.
