Job summary

BioSpace seeks a seasoned electrical engineer to own the safe, compliant operation and lifecycle management of electrical systems, including maintenance planning and incident response. You will lead improvements, support new product introductions, and ensure readiness and regulatory compliance.

The role emphasizes knowledge of electrical codes, distribution systems, cGMP, and strong leadership and communication skills in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Education/experience combinations include HS diploma with 10 years engineering experience.
• Preferred: extensive electrical engineering experience in regulated pharma/biotech environment.
• Knowledge of electrical codes, distribution systems, and leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Job description

Lead engineering improvements and equipment modifications, support new product introductions and qualification runs, and ensure operational readiness and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

Candidates must meet one of the stated education-and-experience combinations, ranging from a high school diploma or GED with 10 years of engineering experience to a doctorate. Preferred qualifications include extensive electrical engineering experience, ideally in a regulated pharmaceutical or biotechnology environment, knowledge of electrical codes and distribution systems, and strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
