Job summary

Actalent in Houston is looking for a Substation Engineer to lead engineering and design for high-voltage substation projects. You will develop design packages, perform calculations, interact with clients, support proposals, and oversee field inspections through construction.

Qualifications

Job Description

Lead engineering and design activities for new and modified high-voltage substation projects. Responsible for developing substation design packages, engineering calculations, client interaction, proposal support, field inspections, project execution, and mentoring junior engineers. Lead projects from concept through construction.

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or equivalent.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in utility consulting.
• Ability to lead design projects and manage project execution.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $75.00 - $95.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
