Job summary

Faremouth & Company seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to design and deliver electrical systems for modular packages and skids across oil, gas, petrochemical, and power sectors. You will lead technical decisions, review drawings, and mentor junior engineers while supporting shop fabrication and field activities.

Qualifications

Degree in Electrical Engineering (B.E./B.S.).
10+ years of electrical engineering experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, or power.
Experience designing electrical systems for modular packages/skids.
Field support/commissioning experience at industrial sites.

Responsibilities

Lead development/review of one-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, and hazardous area layouts.
Perform load calculations, conductor sizing, and coordination studies; review junior engineers’ work.
Specify equipment (transformers, MCCs, VFDs, lighting) per NEC/IEEE/API standards.
Prepare specs, data sheets, and bid packages for electrical equipment and materials.
Support shop fabrication, field installation, commissioning, and FAT.
