Job summary

RES is looking for an Electrical Engineer III to design and support renewable power projects including wind, solar, and battery storage systems. Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience as well as a Professional Engineer (PE) certification. The role offers a competitive salary ranging from $110,000 to $139,000 based on qualifications and experience, along with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and a 401(k) plan with company match.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or 8 years equivalent experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE or P. Eng.) certification is required.
• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred.
• 5+ years of power generation industry with EPC experience is required.
• Ability to travel 5-15%.

Responsibilities

• Develops and reviews electrical design systems including AC and DC.
• Supports estimating projects with preliminary designs and equipment costs.
• Prepares specifications for electrical materials and equipment.
• Provides input to construction teams effectively.
