Job summary

Exemplar Global is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer (Level IV) to lead engineering from concept to delivery with a focus on technical excellence and customer satisfaction.

The role involves designing power distribution, medium-voltage and 480V systems for industrial, utility and building projects, performing arc-flash and other studies, and preparing specs while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of Electrical Engineering experience.
• Professional Engineering registration or actively pursuing.
• Experience in electrical utility generation and distribution design.
• Experience with Process, Instrumentation, and Controls.
• Knowledge of NEC, NFPA, NESC, ANSI/IEEE standards.
• Ability to build client relationships and present to stakeholders.
• Strong planning, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% domestically.

Responsibilities

• Designs and supports power distribution systems (primary requirement).
• Designs medium-voltage and 480-volt power systems for industrial, utility, and building applications.
• Designs building power and lighting systems including protection, UPS, and related components.
• Performs power system studies using SKM PTW.
• Prepares engineering documents and equipment specifications per contract scope.
• Reviews contractor and vendor submittals and equipment selections.
• Creates project plans and schedules for execution of work.
• Develops labor and cost estimates and manages scope/budget.
• Coordinates work with departments, teams, subcontractors, and contractors.
• Provides construction observation, startup and commissioning support for electrical systems.
• Offers technical guidance to other departments and may serve as project manager.
• Supports business development through proposals, customer meetings, and interviews.
• Other duties as assigned.
