Job summary

Air Products is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer at its Allentown, PA headquarters to support reliable operation of industrial electrical equipment and power systems across North America.

Responsibilities include assisting field personnel with high voltage distribution, coordinating repairs, and driving maintenance to improve plant reliability. A BS in EE and PE license are preferred; travel up to 20% may be required.

Qualifications

• BS Electrical Engineering degree required.
• Active PE license preferred and 6+ years of electrical engineering experience.
• Experience in operation and maintenance of large industrial plants.
• Knowledge of HV substation equipment, transformers, motors, drives, UPS systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance for high voltage distribution equipment and systems.
• Respond to electrical equipment problems in company facilities.
• Coordinate vendor shop repairs on high voltage motors for QA.
• Issue repair reports for critical jobs and maintain historical documentation.
• Lead RCA and implement predictive and preventive maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with internal and national standards in equipment specification and maintenance.
• Support training and mentoring of field technicians and operations staff.
