Job summary

Space Kinetic is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer, Power Electronics & Embedded Systems, to design, build, and mature prototypes for Space Kinetic’s core technology. You will design systems that process both analog and digital signals and bridge real-world inputs to embedded processors.

Your work focuses on signal conditioning, motor controller interfaces, and collaboration with mechanical teams to advance toward flight-ready hardware in a fast-paced startup environment at El Segundo, CA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or closely related STEM field.
• 5+ years hands-on electrical engineering experience with prototypes.
• Experience in hardware for aerospace/defense/robotics or similar.
• Experience with analog signal conditioning and digital drivers.
• Experience with embedded systems and schematic/PCB design tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot, document, and collaborate cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and build electrical prototypes for Space Kinetic’s core technology.
• Refine the current prototype's electrical design to support maturation.
• Create schematics, select components, and ensure environmental requirements.
• Coordinate with vendors for PCB fabrication and assembly.
