Job summary

Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. is seeking a senior electrical engineer to lead complex power distribution, lighting, fire protection and life-safety projects in a consulting setting.

You will design medium/low-voltage systems, perform load flow and arc-flash analyses, develop drawings in AutoCAD and Revit, and mentor junior staff while ensuring NEC compliance and coordination with mechanical and architectural teams.

Qualifications

  • Active Electrical Engineering PE license.
  • 10+ years of professional electrical engineering experience.
  • Strong knowledge of NEC and electrical safety standards.
  • Experience with AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Background in power distribution, lighting, and life safety systems.
  • Ability to lead projects and collaborate within a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Design electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, fire protection, and life safety.
  • Develop medium- and low-voltage systems and one-line diagrams.
  • Perform load flow studies, arc flash analysis, and power factor correction.
  • Design generator, emergency power, and UPS systems.
  • Ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA 70E, and applicable standards.
  • Coordinate with mechanical, structural, and architectural teams.
  • Manage and mentor electrical design staff.
  • Produce specifications and construction documents using AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Deliver customized engineering solutions tailored to client operations.
