Job summary

Atoms in Pittsburgh, PA seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead PCB/PCBA design for production robotics hardware. You will own end-to-end design in Altium, including schematics, layout, and release packages, with a focus on high-speed, mixed-signal, and controlled-impedance routing.

About the role

Lab37 Robotics is seeking a PCBA Design Engineer to lead the design, layout, and release of high-reliability PCBAs used in next-generation robotic food-production systems.This role requires strong hands‑on expertise in Altium Designer, multi-layer PCB layout, and high-speed design practices, along with the ability to collaborate closely with mechanical, firmware, controls, and manufacturing teams.

You will own multiple boards across motor control, sensors, communications, and power distribution—from early concept through pilot builds and production.

What you’ll do

The base starting rate for this role is $120,000 - $180,000 per year.

Actual compensation will be determined on an individual basis and may vary depending on experience, skills, and qualifications.
