Job summary

Constellation Energy is seeking engineers to support its nuclear fleet, providing advanced engineering analysis and technical leadership across short and long-term programs. You will resolve equipment and system problems, ensure design standards, and participate in outage and emergency response activities.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s in engineering with nuclear experience and may pursue Professional Engineer registration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (chemical, civil/structural, electrical, industrial, mechanical or nuclear) with nuclear or related engineering experience.
• Maintain minimum access or unescorted access requirements and medical examination/testing as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-depth technical expertise to develop, manage and implement engineering analysis, activities and programs.
• Provide technical expertise and consultation to identify and resolve equipment and system problems.
• Directly fulfill engineering and technical leadership accountability regarding short- and long-term programs that impact site operations.
• Perform engineering tasks as assigned by supervision applying engineering principles.
• Ensure proper configuration management and use of standard design criteria, practices, procedures and codes.
• Perform independent research, reviews and analyses in support of technical projects and programs.
• Recommend equipment and concepts to improve performance, reduce costs, or comply with changes in codes or regulations.
• Support outage activities and emergency response as needed.
