Philips is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for the IntraSight Hardware team in San Diego to drive PCBA development from design through industrialization, interfacing with suppliers and contract manufacturers.

You will ensure compliance with IEC 60601-1/1-2 and ISO 13485, lead design reviews, and guide DFM/DFT/DFC strategies while coordinating with cross-functional teams for successful product development.

Qualifikationen

• 10+ years of electrical engineering experience with focus on PCBA design and development.
• Experience working with suppliers, EMS partners, and contract manufacturers for design reviews and development activities.
• Experience with IEC 60601-1/60601-1-2 and ISO 13485 is highly valued.

Aufgaben

• Interface with suppliers, design partners, and contract manufacturers to lead PCBA design, development, prototyping, and industrialization.
• Review schematics, PCB layouts, and design docs to ensure Philips standards and system alignment.
• Lead DFM/DFT/DFC strategies and manage component lifecycle risks and supplier changes.
• Oversee PCBA verification and validation including EMC, power integrity, and safety testing with regulatory teams.
• Collaborate across systems, mechanical, software, quality, regulatory, and procurement teams to deliver integrated products.
