You will oversee root cause analysis of PCBAs and medical device systems, validate test systems, and collaborate across Manufacturing, Quality, Reliability, and Design Engineering to drive improvements in product reliability and yield.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with 8+ years in a regulated environment.
• Expertise in PCBA troubleshooting, failure analysis, and root cause investigations.
• Experience with CAPA, nonconformances, risk assessments, and QMS compliance.
• Proficiency with diagnostic equipment and data analysis for verification and reliability.
• Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical, functional, and failure analysis investigations across prototype, verification, validation, and production to ensure compliance with design, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Perform root cause analysis and debugging of PCBAs, electronic assemblies, and medical device systems related to manufacturing failures and field issues.
• Develop, maintain, and improve electrical test methods, fixtures, and automated test systems for reliable testing.
• Conduct board-level debugging using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, DMMs, and thermal imaging equipment.
• Identify failure mechanisms and drive corrective and preventive actions to improve quality and reliability.
• Lead process validation and test method validation activities for manufacturing and test systems.
• Participate in CAPA, nonconformance, and risk assessments to identify root causes and actions.
• Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for yield and reliability improvements.
