HDR is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer in Houston, TX. You will lead electrical design efforts for building projects, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and drive code-compliant solutions. The role requires a PE license, 10+ years of experience, and strong proficiency in REVIT, AutoCAD, SKM, EasyPower, and ETAP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with an Electrical emphasis.
• Minimum 10 years experience in electrical design of buildings (lighting/power/systems).
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the work of Electrical Engineers with the balance of a multidiscipline team throughout the project.
• Establish client relations and participate in marketing, design and production meetings on electrical systems.
• Assume the electrical lead on many projects.
• Participate in reviews with governing agencies for code compliance.
• Conduct schematic, design development and contract document sessions at the project site with PM, architect and other disciplines.
• Coordinate workload through the project development to meet schedule.
• Track the financial aspects of projects and coordinate with the team to stay within schedule and budget.
• Direct activities of other electrical engineers and mentor staff as needed.
• Perform other duties as needed.
