Job summary

Kimley-Horn's Philadelphia office is seeking a senior Electrical I&C Engineer with 10+ years of experience to lead growth of our instrumentation and controls practice in the region. You will build relationships with power generation and natural gas clients, mentor junior staff, and coordinate multidisciplinary teams to deliver quality projects across Pennsylvania and the country.

Travel to project sites as needed and participate in business development activities to expand Kimley-Horn’s

Qualifications

  • 10+ years experience in an Electrical Engineering role.
  • Professional Engineering (P.E.) License.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Willingness to travel to support site visits and client meetings, as needed.
  • Ability to work in a team; both collaborating with and mentoring junior staff.

Responsibilities

  • Integrate into Kimley-Horn’s national power generation and natural gas practices and develop relationships with other Practice Builders.
  • Grow the I&C practice in Philadelphia and expand relationships with existing clients.
  • Partner with Practice Builders to identify opportunities to support and grow with current clients.
  • Introduce other Kimley-Horn partners to existing industry relationships.
  • Collaborate with marketing to expand brand recognition through conferences, meetings, and opportunities.
  • Learn Kimley-Horn business practices and resources through the integration team.
  • Help identify project teams using current and future staff resources.

Overview

Kimley-Horn's Philadelphia office is seeking an Electrical I&C Engineer with 10+ years of experience to join our Natural Gas team!

Responsibilities

This person will serve as a senior Electrical Engineer focused on growing an Instrumentation and Controls (I&C) practice in Philadelphia, PA. The role will include enhancing existing clients and establish new client relationships by producing quality work with efficiency while growing a team that will support power generation and natural gas projects in Pennsylvania and across the country.

  • Integration into the national power generation and natural gas practices and develop relationships with other Practice Builders.
  • Gain an understanding of Kimley-Horn’s existing capabilities, technical resources, and resume.
  • Partner with existing Kimley-Horn Practice Builders to evaluate our current clients to identify those presenting the best opportunities to support and partner on to grow.
  • Introduce other Kimley-Horn partners to existing industry relationships.
  • Work with our marketing team to expand Kimley-Horn’s brand recognition in areas of expertise through conferences, professional meetings, and other opportunities.
  • Become educated on Kimley-Horn business practices and resources with the partnership of the integration team.
  • Work with partners to identify project teams through existing and future staff resources.
