Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• Experience with ICDs and hardware interface design.
• Ability to determine hardware compatibility of a system.
• Familiarity with CANVAS and circuit simulation tools.
• Experience with CAN/CAD (ALTIUM a plus).
• Strong electrical systems design experience; mechanical aptitude a plus.
• Ability to lead a technical group independently.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, analyze and test electronics systems.
• Lead a group of engineers on technical activities.
• Provide budget, cost and schedule input for design tasks.
• Review specs and develop designs to meet needs and cost targets.
• Specify and evaluate components and services.
• Drive design for manufacture and design-to-cost.
• Develop prototypes to reduce development risks.
• Communicate clearly with team and customers.
• Prepare proposals and support program management.
• Mentor less-experienced engineers and support staff.
