Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited program.
• 8+ years of professional electrical engineering design experience.
• Strong experience with Revit and/or AutoCAD for building design.
• U.S. Citizenship required due to the DoD projects.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design efforts for building projects of varying size and complexity.
• Develop and oversee designs for medium- and low-voltage power distribution systems, lighting, grounding and related building systems.
• Coordinate with architects and other disciplines to deliver integrated building designs.
• Prepare and review electrical calculations including load calculations, voltage drop, short circuit, protection coordination, arc flash analyses.
• Develop lighting designs and photometric analyses; produce and review drawings and construction documents.
• Provide construction-phase support including submittal reviews and RFIs; site visits and commissioning as required.
