Job summary

Radiant, an El Segundo, CA-based startup, seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead full-stack PCB development for terrestrial reactor control systems, with potential space applications. You will own the hardware architecture, ensure low-noise, high-reliability PCBs, and drive bring-up from schematic to field deployment.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years designing multilayer PCB boards, strong signal and power integrity, and hands-on lab experience with test equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field.
• 5+ years designing custom PCBs, multilayer and mixed-signal boards.
• Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout tools (Altium/Cadence).
• Strong signal and power integrity, grounding, EMI/EMC mitigation experience.
• Analog/mixed-signal design, sensor interfaces, ADC/DAC integration, low-noise design.
• Familiarity with SPI, I2C, UART, Ethernet and high-speed layout constraints.
• Hands-on bring-up, debugging and lab instrumentation experience.

Responsibilities

• Own design and development of multilayer PCBs for reactor control and instrumentation.
• Define electrical architecture for mixed-signal systems including power distribution.
• Design low-noise analog front-end circuits with ADC/DAC integration.
• Schematic capture, component selection, and PCB layout focused on signal/power integrity.
• Develop high-speed layouts for sensor interfaces and data paths.
• Bring up, debug, validate hardware, and perform root-cause analysis.
• Create hardware validation plans for performance and environmental conditions.
• Collaborate with firmware, FPGA, DSP, and other engineers for system integration.
