Job summary

Thermon Industries, Inc in Austin, TX seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer with extensive PCB design expertise to join the R&D Controls and Accessories team. You will own the hardware architecture through bring-up and production release for harsh-environment controllers.

You will collaborate on certification with CSA, UL, ATEX, and EMC, and mentor a small team while applying AI-assisted engineering with strong judgment to ensure safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• 7-15 years hands-on electronics experience.
• AI tool fluency with engineering judgment.
• Strong mentorship capability.
• Problem solving mindset.

Responsibilities

• Analog and mixed-signal design for isolated/non-isolated signals and sensors.
• PCB design ownership from schematic to layout in Altium Designer.
• Bring-up and debug through full verification and certification readiness.
• Design validation testing with repeatable processes.
• Collaborate with certifications teams (CSA, UL, ATEX, EMC).
• Deliver complete design packages for manufacturing transfer.
• Define hardware/software interfaces with embedded engineers.
• Mentor team members to raise capability.
