The expected salary range for this position is $115,100 - $205,040, depending on experience and qualifications.
This Opportunity: WSP is initiating a search for a Senior Electrical Engineer (Generation) to join our Power & Energy team in Overland Park, KS. The following location will also be considered: Houston, TX. The candidate will be involved in projects with our Power & Energy Team and be part of a growing organization that meets our client’s objectives and solves their challenges.

This position provides subject matter technical support and leadership for due diligence, investigation, remediation, impact assessment, permitting, improvement, design, development, and construction of utility, industrial, and commercial scale projects in the public and private sector. Tasks include research, design, concept development, planning, and construction of transmission and distribution substations, power distribution, power regulation, renewable energy, as well as protection and control systems in a wide variety of contexts. The role provides guidance to PMs and managers to address risk, innovation, and future-ready opportunities and ensures that responsibilities are delivered with quality that meets or exceeds industry standards for design, safety, and functionality.
