Mercer Engineering Research Center (MERC) at Mercer University in Warner Robins, GA seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer for an on-site role. Lead advanced electrical designs for electronic warfare and avionics, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and present technical solutions to customers.

U.S. citizenship and DoD clearance eligibility required; PhD with 3 years, or MS with 8 years, or BS with 9 years experience requested.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship is required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance.
• Ph.D. in a relevant engineering field (EE, ME, AE, IE, SW, CE, Computer Science, etc.) from an ABET accredited program with 3 years directly related experience; or a Master’s degree in same with 8 years; or an undergraduate degree with 9 years directly related experience.
• 3 years of technical lead responsibility.
• Final rank will be determined on the qualifications of the selected candidate.

Responsabilités

• Lead, design, and perform detailed engineering in the assigned discipline, including evaluating multiple solutions for cost, life cycle, reliability and maintainability.
• Organize cross-functional teams and present design alternatives to a multidisciplinary review group; implement multidiscipline solutions.
• Lead technical interfaces with customers, provide technical solutions, cost estimates, and schedules; communicate risk to senior management.
