Job summary

Bristol Infrastructure Design Services, LLC is hiring a Senior Electrical Engineer to support the Department of Navy at Hampton Roads, VA.

The engineer will conduct field evaluations and generate review comments for electrical design proficiency in accordance with code standards for in-house and A&E design submittals. Hybrid work schedule set by NAVFAC; opportunities based on office requirements.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited electrical engineering degree required.
• PE license in Electrical Engineering required.
• Minimum 10 years of professional electrical engineering design experience.
• Experience with DoD/Navy standards and NAVFAC projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field evaluations and generate design review comments.
• Ensure comments are resolved and incorporated into designs.
• Perform site visits and assist with QA/QC inspections.
• Witness acceptance testing and provide troubleshooting recommendations.
• Prepare written analyses and present findings.
