CareerNerds, LLC in Syracuse, NY is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for Digital Hardware to lead design of next-generation digital systems. You will develop FPGA-based solutions, multi-layer PCBs, and high-speed interfaces, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical/Computer Engineering, 5+ years in digital hardware, and the ability to obtain a US security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of digital hardware design experience.
• Experience with FPGAs, microcontrollers, memory, and high-speed interfaces.
• Hands-on with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers.
• Experience with VHDL and/or Verilog.
• U.S. Citizenship required with ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance.

• Design multi-layer PCBs, develop schematics, and support board layout activities.

• Hands-on experience using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and similar lab equipment.
• Experience with VHDL and/or Verilog.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• U.S. Citizenship required with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance.

• Altium Designer.

• RF Systems or Software Defined Radio (SDR).
