Job summary

PD Power Systems LLC is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer/Designer to design electrical and control systems for power generation and distribution. You will work with Mechanical Designers to integrate controls, and be familiar with PLCs, generator controls, and HMIs. 2D CAD is required; 3D CAD desirable.

The role involves collaboration with internal teams and suppliers, travel may be required, and on-site work is expected at multiple locations including VA, FL and PA.

Qualifications

• Education: 4-year Electrical Engineering degree with 10+ years of hands-on experience.
• OR: 2-year technical college degree or military experience with 15+ years of electrical and controls design/drawing experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, edit and maintain electrical schematics, panel diagrams, wiring drawings using AutoCAD.
• Create, maintain and troubleshoot PLC systems.
• Source components based on customer requirements and specs.
• Collaborate with engineering teams and suppliers to develop products.
