Job Summary TYLin is seeking an experienced, design-oriented Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team, contributing to a diverse portfolio of facilities and infrastructure projects. This role is ideal for an engineer with strong low- and medium-voltage (LV/MV) design experience who enjoys developing practical, technically sound electrical solutions from concept through detailed design and construction. You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, take ownership of key design deliverables, and contribute to projects that shape the built environment, with opportunities to expand your technical expertise and grow into a future technical leadership role.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

What You’ll Work On You will contribute to the design and delivery of electrical systems for a diverse range of facilities and infrastructure projects, including commercial, institutional, transportation, industrial, and public-sector environments. You will play an active role in developing practical, reliable, and code-compliant electrical designs, with a strong emphasis on low-voltage (LV) and medium-voltage (MV) power distribution systems. Your work may include:

  • Building systems and large-scale facilities
  • Transportation facilities, stations, terminals, and maintenance buildings
  • Institutional, commercial, and public-sector facilities
  • New facility design, expansions, and major renovations

Coordinate electrical designs with architectural, mechanical, structural, civil, and other engineering disciplines to ensure integrated, practical solutions. Participate in site assessments, existing-condition investigations, design reviews, and construction-phase activities. Support technical discussions with clients, contractors, equipment suppliers, and other project stakeholders. Apply relevant electrical codes, standards, and best practices throughout the design process. Take ownership of assigned technical deliverables, proactively resolve design challenges, and help maintain quality, schedule, and project objectives. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and designers, contributing to the continued development of the electrical engineering team.
