Job summary

Manpower Group (USA) is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our AE client’s Engineering Department in Virginia. This role supports diverse projects across markets, requiring strong problem-solving and proactive collaboration with architects, engineers, PMs, and contractors.

You will lead design packages, mentor junior staff, and assist in construction and commissioning, with a competitive salary and broad benefits including ESOP and health options.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of experience in building systems design.
• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Registered Professional Engineer in VA or reciprocity within three months.
• Experience with power distribution, lighting and control systems, grounding, and emergency power systems.

Responsibilities

• Solve complex electrical engineering problems while ensuring compliance with codes and standards.
• Collaborate with architecture, engineering, PMs, and contractors to deliver designs.
• Lead project teams with oversight, deliver detailed design packages, and support diverse clients.
• Mentor junior engineers and designers to foster growth and technical excellence.
• Support construction and commissioning activities with quality and clear communication.
