Job summary

Zipline is seeking an electrical engineer to own end‑to‑end electrical subsystems for a next‑generation drone platform. You will work across architecture, schematic design, bring‑up, validation, and field support to ensure robust hardware that scales globally.

The role requires hands‑on lab work, collaboration with firmware, mechanical, and systems teams, and travel to support supplier and field validation. Eligible to work in the US and onsite in South San Francisco.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 4 years experience designing complex PCBAs with production readiness.
• Experience with mixed signal, high speed design, and safety considerations.

Responsibilities

• Own the electrical design for volume production from requirements to validation and production.
• Lead trade studies and provide direction to reduce risk across projects.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with reliability, mechanical, embedded, and systems engineers.
