Job summary

Sierra Nevada Corporation is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer in Ohio to lead the design, development, and testing of electrical/electronic systems for aerospace and defense applications. You will guide circuit card assemblies, wiring designs, and system validation while mentoring engineers and driving technical excellence.

The role requires 10+ years in electrical engineering, strong proficiency in design and validation methods, and the ability to work in a hybrid office environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required.
• 10+ years of experience in electrical engineering or related role.
• Higher level degree may substitute for experience.
• Expert proficiency in electrical/electronic design and validation techniques.
• Experience with EWIS requirements and electrical safety practices.
• Experience with Computer Aided Engineering tools.
• Progressive experience in multi-disciplinary design teams.
• Ability to interpret electrical/electronic rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of electrical/electronic systems.
• Oversee testing and validation of electronic components and circuits.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers.
