Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to drive electronics design from concept through launch at our Pleasanton, CA site. You will own analog and digital circuits, perform PCB design and EMC troubleshooting, and collaborate across teams to ensure robust, manufacturable products.

The role requires a BSEE and 8–10 years of experience, with a focus on IEC-60601 compliance and a disciplined approach to design for testability and reliability.

The Senior Electrical Engineer will be responsible for electronics design and support tasks for AbbVie's product line from concept to commercial launch. This includes engaging in all phases of new product introduction and providing technical support throughout the product development process.

Requirements: Candidates should have a minimum of a BSEE degree and 8-10 years of experience in electrical engineering. A strong background in analog and digital design, as well as knowledge of IEC-60601 requirements, is preferred.
