Job summary

Entegee is seeking a Sr Electrical Engineer to lead power electronics/conversion for naval ships and submarines. The role is hands-on with design, development, modification, and analysis of electric drive and power conversion systems.

Required: a BSEE or equivalent, 5+ years in power electronics, circuit board design (Altium preferred), AutoCAD Electrical, and knowledge of HV/HF components (IGBTs, MOSFETs). You will document, troubleshoot, and support complex power electronics programs.

Qualifications

• BSEE or similar required.
• 5+ years of power electronics experience.
• Design, upgrading, documentation, troubleshooting, and general engineering support of power electronics systems.
• Circuit board design experience; Altium preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of power converter topologies and devices (IGBTs, MOSFETs, power diodes).
• Design or understanding of high voltage / high current custom components like capacitors, inductors, and transformers.
• Schematic work in AutoCAD Electrical including selection of parts, wires, connectors, sensors, contactors, etc.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, modify, and analyze power electronics systems for naval ships and submarines.
• Provide engineering support and troubleshooting for power electronics systems.
• Document designs, configurations, and processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet program goals.

Electrical Engineers are hands on with design, development, modification, and analysis of various electronics systems including motor controller and power conversion applications for naval ships and submarines.

Required:

• BSEE or similar
• 5+ years of power electronics experience
• Design, upgrading, documentation, troubleshooting, and general engineering support of power electronics systems.
• Circuit board design (tool: Altium exp preferred, not required)
• Knowledge of power converter topologies and devices (IGBTs, MOSFETS, power diodes, etc.),
• Design or understanding of high voltage / high current custom components like capacitors, inductors, and transformers, etc.
• Schematic work in AutoCAD Electrical (including selection of individual parts, wires, connectors, sensors, contactors, etc.).
