Job summary

nVent is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer in Madison, WI to independently lead complex electrical build and system integration projects. You will deliver complete electrical drawing sets and EBOMs, serving as the primary technical interface to customers while coordinating multi-disciplinary requirements.

The role requires 5+ years in electrical build and system integration with strong knowledge of medium- and low-voltage systems, codes, and standards.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent hands-on experience, preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in electrical build, system integration, or related roles, preferred.
  • Proven experience leading complex electrical projects independently
  • Solid knowledge of medium- and low-voltage power systems and integration principles, preferred.
  • Familiarity with relevant electrical codes and standards
  • Experience crafting and managing electrical BOMs
  • Strong communication abilities for engaging with customers, vendors, and internal teams
  • Proficiency with Bluebeam, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite, preferred
  • A collaborative approach with the ability to influence through technical expertise
