Icarus is seeking an avionics engineer in El Segundo, California, to design and develop high-reliability avionics for stratospheric aircraft. The candidate will own electrical subsystems from inception to flight and must be comfortable working fast and debugging in the field.
The role demands at least 2 years of experience in building electronic hardware, proficiency in electrical engineering principles, and experience with power electronics or avionics. The salary range for this position is competitive, ranging from $120,000 to $220,000 USD, complemented by meaningful equity.

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are considered part of Icarus’ total compensation package.
