Job summary

Hitachi Energy USA Inc. seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to own design projects for power transformer solutions in the North American market. You will lead electrical design activities, run simulations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable transformer systems.

The role requires a bachelor's in electrical engineering with 5+ years of industry experience, strong fundamentals, AutoCAD and Creo familiarity, and excellent communication and teamwork in English.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical design within the power transformer manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical engineering theory and practical application.
  • Experience using AutoCAD; familiarity with 3D CAD tools such as Creo is an advantage.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, collaboration, and organizational skills with fluency in English.
