Collaborate with U-M stakeholders to oversee primary voltage loop, substation, secondary power, photovoltaic, EV charging, lighting and control, fire alarm, emergency responder radio coverage, lightning protection, security, and other electrical systems, both at the building and the regional levels. Refine, enhance, and participate in analysis and long-term planning of campus infrastructure, applying energy conservation and carbon neutrality initiatives.

  • Perform field surveys in electrical, mechanical, and other building spaces to document existing electrical systems and to understand building interferences. You will assess condition and performance of systems and components. Develop recommendations for alterations to buildings and infrastructure based on the findings of field surveys and evaluations.
