Job summary
Larson Design Group in Oklahoma City is seeking an experienced Designer to apply foundational to intermediate engineering and landscape architecture principles, producing design drawings and technical reports under supervision.
You will use CAD, Civil 3D, Revit and related tools to support multi-disciplinary projects, coordinate documentation, and assist in cost estimates while ensuring compliance with design standards.
Qualifications
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline.
- Eight years of related experience.
Responsibilities
- Produce accurate, high-quality design drawings using CAD and related programs.
- Review work for accuracy, apply redline corrections, and ensure compliance with project standards.
- Prepare and review specifications, evaluate submittals, and coordinate project documentation.
- Coordinate the development of multi-discipline drawing sets with staff across disciplines.
- Promote QA/QC processes to enhance deliverable quality and reduce errors.
- Research applicable design standards, regulations, codes, and permitting requirements.
- Independently develops standard project details under direction.
- Review shop drawings to verify adherence to design intent.
- Assist in design calculations, quantity takeoffs, specs, and cost estimates.
