Job summary

Worley in Denver, CO seeks a Senior Electrical Designer to deliver detailed electrical design drawings and support the project team from a technical perspective. The role includes coordinating with suppliers and clients, training junior staff, and ensuring designs meet NEC and project standards.

Candidates should have extensive CAD experience (AutoCAD/Navisworks), 3D design skills, and at least five years in the oil and gas industry. A proactive attitude and initiative are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Experience with AutoCAD 18 or later and Navisworks.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD blocks, XREF, and 3D modeling.
• Knowledge of ANSI dimensioning standards.
• Experience with SP3D, PDMS, and PDS EERWAY 3D CAD systems and 3D reviews.
• At least five years of oil and gas industry experience.
• Training in CAD software for 2D and 3D design.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and NEC knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work scheduling and project planning.
• Preparation of engineering drawings and documentation.
• Respond to technical queries.
• Interpret third‑party design documents into project design.
• Training and supervision of junior staff.
• Check drawings for conformity with the project execution plan.
• Liaise with suppliers, clients and consultants on design and construction.
